3 clarifications:
1. Enclose the URL with quotation marks
2. To use wget w/o downloading anything use the spider switch.
3. RSS URLs cannot contain &. If they do, please wrap that RSS URL as
a tinyurl, or similar.
Like so:
wget --spider "url"
