I have recently started to monitor my podcast stats in a bit more detail but I am very confused by how the stats work!

As I write this my stats for the last 24 hrs are as follows:

Subscribers - 286
Hits - 937

What is the difference please? Is this good?
Won’t appeal to everyone!
It’s quite a specialist topic - football refereeing

Hi Darren,

You should be able to find the answers two these questions here:
It's perfectly normal that number of hits exceeds the number of subscribers. If you want to find out how many people read your feed, the "subscriber" and "reach" numbers are most informative, and "hits" is probably the least interesting number to look at.
