Ugh, here we go again. All of my subscriber counts have the zero bug
again. Please fix:

Thank you

You're hardly alone...

The problem is listed on the Known Issues page:
http://groups.google.com/group/feedburner/web/known-issues-workarounds

But there isn't much there that's helpful. If you search the forum,
you quickly discover this has been a problem for quite some time and
that not much seems to be getting done to fix it. Or even address the
user concerns.

As far as I can tell, it's something that happens to certain feeds and
certain times of the day. It eventually resets and restores your
ability to monitor your subscribers, but while you're at ZERO the
suggested workaround is BE PATIENT.

Would love to know if anyone finds a better solution. Not impressed
with the support experience at Feedburner.

Thanks Rational Denial, but I hardly think its a waste of time to try
to bring it to Feedburner's attention. Just because there was a
problem in July - it doesn't mean the root cause is the same now in
October - or that Feedburner people are still monitoring the problem.

In other words, we are still looking for help here!

Same with me. This is annoying. It has also told me for days that I
have no site visitors, yet my subscriber list keeps growing. This is
really annoying.

I just looked in the General Services discussion area and FeedBurner
posted the message below. What is the "one particularly interesting
alternative to your current FeedBurner setup"? A new competitor to
FeedBurner, perhaps? Their support sucks.

FeedBurner is currently delayed in reporting subscriber numbers,
especially for any feed burned in recent months. We are working on
several
possible solutions to speed things up.

Stay tuned for a post in this Group for one particularly interesting
alternative to your current FeedBurner setup that we plan to offer to
all publishers very soon.

now my subscriber count is showing when i login to my feedburner
account but it still does not reflect at the widget yet.
maybe give them another day or so.

sigh. hopefully they can fix this problem once and for all.

Just to add my blog to the list: dropped from 118 subscribers to
(mysteriously) 1 or sometimes 2 for the past week. No idea if my email
updates are going out. Feed seems fine.

Please, even if someone from Google can't *FIX* this, can someone at
least post some suggestions as to what we might try? It's hard to
complain about a service which is free, but I use Feedburner because
it's great, not because it's free. Or at least, it used to be great.

...and with most of my subscribers on email, I'm just praying that
Feedburner hasn't lost the lot of them forever.
