Adding <itunes:email> tag to submit podcast feed to Google Play

Hello,
I recently tried to add my podcast feed to Google Play, but I got the error message "Podcast RSS feed must include a podcast title, an author and an email. Please update your RSS feed to continue." Above the podcast submission button there is a warning message that reads:

"Be sure your RSS feed contains at least one episode and the following tags: 

• <title>
• <itunes:author> or <googleplay:author>
• <itunes:email> or <googleplay:email>"

My feedburner podcast-friendly feed has title and author tags but no email tags. When i created the feed in the first place, I left the email field blank because I didn't want an email address to be a part of my podcast's metadata. I tried to go back and add an email within feedburner, but there seems to be no way to do such a thing. I've tried hitting "Edit Feed Details," but that only allows you to edit your feed's title, original feed address, and feed address. I've also tried messing around with email subscriptions within feedburner, but this seems to be unrelated to adding an email address within an <itunes:email> tag to my feed. Is there any way I can add an email address to my feed or is it doomed to be incompatible with Google Play?

I'm getting this error too. Submitted fine to itunes.

Ryan, where do you host your podcast?  Libsyn?  

That's where you'd need to add an email address, not in Feedburner.

If it's in Libsyn, make sure you add it under the "Destinations" section, then "Libsyn Classic Feed."

It'll take a while to refresh, but you could "ping" the Feedburner feed to move it along.  

Hopefully that will work!

have you gotten it to work? my feedburner url is still failing validation in google play.
