My first two podcasts plus a number of text posts have suddenly disappeared from my feedburner feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com//TheFameFatale). This content was present in Feedburner and in iTunes up until today. Moreover, this content is still present on my hosting website (http://www.thefamefatale.blogspot.com). FYI, my original feed is  http://www.thefamefatale.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss).

What happened? How can I fix this?

Saying the number 25 should be enough , compared to the 30 posts you already have on your site.

Thanks for the pointer, Matti. I sure wish Google would be more transparent with these technical details.

The default 25 posts issue is mentioned at the bottom of the Blogger support page 'Content missing from my site feed

And that's exactly the problem. It's buried at the bottom of a page, when it should be a prominent UI label on the Feedburner dashboard. For all its virtues, Google does a very poor job of documenting its features in a way that's easily accessible to users.

OK, using Matti's helpful solution, I did fix the Original Feed Address field on the Feedburner My Feeds page, adding the "max-results=500" text:

BUT...

Although all of my blog posts (including the ones with podcasts) are now appearing on my Feedburner webpage (http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheFameFatale), my early podcasts and my latest podcast (yesterday's) are STILL NOT showing up in the iTunes store.

Oddly, those episodes DO appear in my iTunes subscription to the podcast. However, they DO NOT appear in the iTunes Store.

Does anyone know what the issue might be?

Thanks,

John

Here's the gist of my issue:

The iTunes Store currently shows only 4 of my 8 total episodes:

Likewise, my RSS reader shows only 4 episodes (the same 4 that the iTunes Store shows).

Meanwhile, Feedburner shows ALL 8 of my episodes on the actual feed page (http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheFameFatale).

And the subscribed podcast in my iTunes Library also shows all 8 episodes.

So... why are episodes 0, 1, 2, and 7 missing from the iTunes Store and from my RSS reader subscription?

It seems as if the issue lies with Feedburner, not with iTunes, my RSS reader, or my blog (hosted by Blogger).

I've tried pinging Feedburner, and I also resynched the feed on Feedburner. So far, nothing has fixed the issue.

Yes, the issue finally resolved itself: i implemented Matti's fix to the feed URL (described elsewhere in this thread). But it took iTunes about five days to start registering that change. After that, all of my episodes appeared in itunes.

Hopefully you read the other thread well enough.
Otherwise the feedburner feed will stop updating once you've made about 70 to 80 posts,
since the current 55 posts make the original feed ~380 KB in size.

as the original feed, you'd still hit the 512KB limit after about 260 posts.
