I know a lot of players are here mostly for the gameplay, but I am curious about the story and where it may be going. Just got back into exanima after a few years and remember the story being very well done and subtle. From what I remember, there is some sort of necromancer who found a portal to a different world, right? The MC has some powers, so probably isn't a procter, might be some sort of mage sent to stop the necromancer or maybe assist him. But what is the necromancer trying to do again? On my new playthrough, only just met derrin but I have gotten past sir and to the spider area, just can't remember the plot.
I recently got a new laptop, and it has some really sexy specs. sexy enough specs that exanima runs at some 160-170fps. really cool yea, but my laptop fucking hates it, and I want it to stop. heating is becoming an issue because this game just does not know the meaning of chill. once already I've had my computer shut down because it got too hot while running exanima, and I think it's rather reasonable to want that to never happen again.
