Hello All,

With the adoption of semantic versioning and the move back to "Fedora" branding versus "Fedora 4", the Fedora project is renaming/migrating some of its GitHub organizations and repositories from names starting with "fcrepo4" to "fcrepo".

The specific GitHub orgs/repos to be migrated are detailed on this planning page:
https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/FF/GitHub+migration+-+fcrepo4+to+fcrepo

The migration is scheduled for the week of September 28th.

Some of the GitHub repositories will be migrated, keep their existing names. Others of the GitHub repositories will be renamed. In both cases, if you have an existing clone, auto-redirects should make the change seamless, see [1] and [2].

If you have any comments related to the planned migration, please respond here or as a comment on the above wiki page.

Regards,
Andrew

Hello All,

By way of update, the Fedora GitHub repository migrations have been completed per:
https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/FF/GitHub+migration+-+fcrepo4+to+fcrepo

No action should be required by anyone who has cloned Fedora repositories.

Regards,
Andrew
