Hi Everyone,

We are reaching out today to invite users to join us in an open information gathering session with the Fedora Technical & Committer Team around the use of Transactions in Fedora.

We would specifically like to gather information first-hand from users who are experiencing issues with the following:

  • Long transaction commit times
  • Failed commits during long/large transactions
  • Errors during commits for long/large transactions

As we begin to dive deeper into investigating the causes of these issues, we would like to hear directly from users experiencing these concerns so we can properly identify the root causes of the issues and navigate a resolution.

To do so we have arranged 2 open calls:

·         Tuesday, July 22 @ 10am Eastern

·         Wednesday, July 23rd @ 2pm Eastern

If you are unable to attend either call, but have information to contribute, please reach out to myself (arran.g...@lyrasis.org) or Dan Field (dan....@lyrasis.org). Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Arran
