Hi All,
This month we would like to welcome special guest to our discussion. Morgan Currie, Caitlin McDonald and Lara Dal Molin from the University of Edinburgh will join us to engage in guided discussion related to our work for a research project they are conducting.
"Please join us for a workshop run by the University of Edinburgh for their research into the impacts of AI scraping on the academic and digital heritage sectors and wider digital commons stakeholders. This workshop will
ask contributors to discuss any experiences they've had with bot scraping, any mitigation strategies they’re deploying and their thoughts generally about AI extraction of open web content. We will also ask people to discuss their ideas and visions for a future
where public interest digital infrastructures have greater parity with the extractive AI industry."
We are encouraging participation from any and all members of the WG to provide a broad representation of our community. No RSVP is required. Simply use the link above to join the meeting. All participants will be asked to complete a consent form, and we will
be working in a collaborative Miro board environment for discussion.
We look forward to seeing you all there.

Brief reminder that our next Solutions Showcase is scheduled for September 24th @ 11am Eastern featuring The University of Minnesota Libraries and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
