WE ARE EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR PRESENTATION PROPOSALS!
We are happy to announce that we are extending the deadline for Presentation Proposals until
July 18, 2025. As we begin to craft the program for Fedora Camp 2025, we are still accpeting presentation proposals for the following topics:
-
Implementation Show & Tell – Walk us through your repository stack, explore what technology you are using, and how you’ve built your system to
meet your needs.
-
Migration Stories – Share your Fedora migration successes, planning processes, and any lessons learned along the way.
-
Unique Use Cases – Are you using Fedora in an unexpected or innovative way? Share your use case as a model for what others can do.
-
Preservation Workflows – How does Fedora fit into your digital preservation strategy?
-
Optimizing OCFL – As a foundational element of Fedora 6.x, OCFL offers many benefits for long-term preservation. How are you handling OCFL objects
and why is this important to your institution?
-
Intro to Your Repository – Take us on a guided tour of your institution's Fedora implementation. Maybe it doesn’t seem exciting to you, but there
is much to be learned by others who want to see what is possible.
We are also seeking proposals for hands-on learning opportunities.
Have an idea you want to share with others? Consider submitting a workshop proposal. Workshops will provide attendees an opportunity to participate in hands-on learning, gaining valuable experience
with digital repository technologies or workflows.
If you have an idea that doesn’t fit into one of these categories, let us know! We encourage creative, experimental, and in-progress ideas, too.
Why Should You Present?
·
Share your knowledge and build connections with the Fedora community.
·
Collaborate with peers working on similar projects and facing similar challenges.
·
Help shape the future of Fedora through dialogue and collaboration.
