Hello and welcome back from the break!

I hope everyone is refreshed, and ready for 2024! To kickstart our year, the Fedora program would like to welcome 2 new Committers to the Fedora Committer Team. Please join me in welcoming Demian Katz and Thomas Bernhart.

Demian Katz is the Director of Library Technology at Villanova University. He and his team were responsible for a large portion of the development effort surrounding the Camel Toolbox. He is a regular contributor at the weekly tech calls where he brings his expertise in release management, documentation and migration support to the group. Villanova uses Fedora 6 after successfully completing a Fedora 3 to 6 migration last year. Demian is always more than willing to share his experiences with this process with other members of the community, and we are grateful for his contributions.

Thomas Bernhart is the Digital Archiving Project Manager at DocuTeam in Switzerland. Thomas has been a regular contributor to development work on the Fedora project and he and his colleagues regularly help maintain and support the Fedora Docker environment. DocuTeam is currently migrating to Fedora 6 and throughout this process, Thomas has been sharing their user stories and use cases with the team, which has been extremely helpful.

Once again, please join me in officially welcoming Thomas and Demian to the Fedora Committer Team. We are extremely grateful for their commitment and dedication to the Fedora program and our community.

Cheers,

Arran
