Hyrax Fedora 6 Working Group Update

Hi All,
I hope everyone has had a great week so far. It’s so hard to believe that it’s already passed the middle of January! Busy start to the new year.
The Hyrax Fedora 6 Working Group began meeting again this week and have a few updates to share from our first meeting of 2024.

Some highlights include:
- There has been significant work on testing Sirenia, with 85% tests passing
- There has been a topic added to the Dev Congress Topics List for further investigation next week.
- Please consider signing up and getting involved in some way!
- The output of the Dev Congress work will help establish work that is left to complete to consider this a “valid working connector”
- Fedora 6.5 is scheduled for released before the end of Feb.
- Included in this release is the support for PairTree identifiers which was requested at Samvera Connect
- Following completion of the outstanding Sirenia tests, the WG will turn their focus on performance testing for Hyrax 5 + Fedora 6.x
