Hi Everyone,
I hope your week is off to a great start. Today I am excited to share the next instalment in the Fedora Implementations Blog series. We are thankful to Jaime Penagos and Alexander Berg-Weiß from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) for sitting down
with us to discuss their Fedora implementation and walk through the decision-making that led to their early adoption of Fedora 6.x.
Jaime explains that... "Fedora
does its work. It can be adapted into different types of workflows. It is reliable. Complex metadata models can be modelled and adapted to Fedora, and the files will comply with the current and future requirements of digital preservation."
These implementation stories highlight real-world uses of Fedora and help illustrate what’s possible. If you have a Fedora implementation, you’d be open to sharing, I’d love to hear from you. We’re always looking to feature new perspectives, and your experience
can be a valuable resource for others in the community.
Thank you again to Jaime and Alexander for their time and contribution. Enjoy the blog post!
Cheers,
Arran
