Hello Everyone,
Today I am happy to announce that we are starting the nomination process for the Fedora Leadership Group. Our Leadership Governance Group represents the community voices and serves to approve the overall priorities and strategic direction of the program. More about the specific roles and responsibilities can be found on the wiki here.

Leadership Group members serve 2-year terms once elected and meet quarterly to discuss program developments both tecnical and community driven. More on Fedora governance can be found on the wiki here.

This year there are 2 community-at-large seats available. The term would be 2022-2024. We are encouraging individuals from the entire community to participate in this process so that voices from the broader community are represented. You may nominate any individual within the Fedora community. Self-nominations are also welcome.

* Only 1 seat per institution can be represented on Fedora Governance.

The nomination form will be active until Friday, September 24, 2021. Following the nomination phase we will proceed with elections for the open seats.

Thank you in advance to everyone for their continuted participation in the Fedora community. We have a great deal to celebrate this year and I am excited to work alongside governance to continue the momentum of our community toward building great things!

If you have any questions, please do not hestiate to reach out.
Cheers,
---
