Hello

Good morning. I am writing today on behalf of the Fedora Governance Group and the Program Team to share information with you about Fedora Program Membership and how you and your institution can make a difference. We are inviting community members, like yourselves, to join us as stakeholders, to ensure the future growth and sustainability of the Fedora program.

This year specifically, the Fedora Program is looking to raise additional funds to invest in work identified as high priority by the community (see attached roadmap or view a detailed version on the wiki here). New membership will go a long way to supporting this effort. Additionally, these funds will support moving the Fedora Lead Developer from part-time to 80% time dedicated to Fedora technical efforts.

Along with contributing to the overall growth and success of the program, membership comes with a variety of benefits, including the opportunity participate in Fedora Governance become part of strategic decision making. Learn more about other benefits on our website.

We have attached some informational resources outlining the specific objectives we are hoping to accomplish and how you can participate. We value our entire community of users and want to express our thanks for your continued advocacy and commitment to Fedora.

I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have or discuss options for participation. Do not hesitate to reach out to me at arran.g...@lyrasis.org. Thank you again for your consideration. Our community is strong because of members like you.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers,

---
