All,
After yesterday's exciting telcon/webinar, Jeanne Holm and I spoke briefly. Jeanne expressed a desire to include the Federal KM Initiative in the proposal to Vivek Kundra and the Federal CIO's Office / CIO Council. I agreed to provide language for that purpose.
Obviously we will need to provide an abbreviated version of our Initiative proposals to nest within the larger proposal that the KMWG is sending. That proposal will be submitted in one week (30 July 09).
For those who did not attend the call or webinar, Jeanne is thinking about re-uniting the KMWG with the Federal CIO Council, however under different groundrules from the ones that caused the original split. I don't have any more details than that, and questions about this proposed action of the KMWG should be addressed to Jeanne.
With the time frame so tight all we can do is produce a draft proposal section, and post it for a quick review on the KMWG wiki. Fortunately we have a lot of content already prepared.
Best regards,
