FED3 not turning on

Hi all, 

Recently had some trouble with a FED not turning on. I made sure it was charged. I swapped out the batteries and made sure they worked. I connected it to a power source and tried turning it on but nothing on all fronts. 

It was a slow death because at first it was turning on intermittently, but now it doesn't allow me to even flash it. I was wondering if it was a switch problem because the yellow-ish light still comes on when charging, but the red light doesn't turn on anymore. Regardless, i was hoping to get some help.

Slow death potentially signals contact corrosion. If this is the version you have (Adafruit microcontroller) you might have an issue as is seen at the bottom of: https://neurotechhub.wustl.edu/an-unofficial-fed-cleaning-protocol/
