In November 2011, Marvel announced that Alan Silvestri, who scored Captain America: The First Avenger, would write and compose the score for The Avengers (making him the first composer to score more than one movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Silvestri stated, "This is actually a very unique experience [for me]. I've worked on films where there have been a number of stars and certainly worked on films where there have been characters of equal weight in terms of their level of importance and profile in the film, but this one is somewhat extreme in that regard because each of these characters has their own world and it's a very different situation. It's very challenging to look for a way to give everyone the weight and consideration they need, but at the same time the film is really about the coming together of these characters, which implies that there is this entity called the Avengers, which really has to be representative of all of them together."[2] Silvestri recorded the score with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London, England.[3] Avengers director Joss Whedon described the score as "old school", saying "the score is very old-fashioned, which is why [Silvestri] was letter perfect for this movie because he can give you the heightened emotion, the [Hans Zimmer] school of 'I'm just feeling a lot right now!' but he can also be extraordinarily cue and character specific, which I love."[3] Silvestri reprises his themes from Captain America: The First Avenger, and introduced new ones - including the theme for Black Widow, which is "a lonely, plucked theme with an Eastern European flavor to define this character".[4] The score album was released on May 1, 2012.[5]

In March 2012, American alternative rock band Soundgarden announced through their official Facebook page that they had written a song to be included on the film's soundtrack, entitled "Live to Rise".[7] The song was released on April 17, 2012, as a free digital download during its first week of availability in the iTunes Store.[8] Additionally, Indian rock band Agnee released a music video for their single "Hello Andheron", which served as the theme song for the Indian release of the film.[9] The following day, Marvel released the album's full track listing, which was released by Hollywood Records on May 1, 2012.[5] A cover of AC/DC's song "Shoot to Thrill", performed by Theory of a Deadman, was originally to be included on the album, but was removed for unknown reasons.

So, I'm not sure you guys remember or not, but long back there was a video essay by Every Frame a Painting (loved his work), saying how the themes of Marvel are not memorable at all (while comparing it to Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and Star Wars. This was 2016.

In the Avengers theme, you have everything going; that is everything that counts except the kitchen sink! First off, you have this fantastic fanfare; the scoring blasts its way into your being like sun coming over the horizon after 6 months of darkness in Alaska! That brass signals that something worth listening to and watching is about to begin. Then, percussion starts grooving and we are off!

Sometimes the theme is great, the show not so much and vice versa; in this case, they both deserve equal, top billing. When I listen, both Steed and Emma Peel are immortalized forever.

The more famous theme was composed by Laurie Johnson.
I love it too, and salute the skill of composing for TV that has yielded

Disney Group said the makeover of Walt Disney Studios Park, one of the two theme parks that make up Disneyland Paris, will be rolled out in phases beginning in 2020. It includes three new areas based on Marvel superheroes as well as the Frozen and Star Wars franchises.

We hope these tasty lunchbox ideas for kids will get your children eating healthy while having lots of fun. If you love the Avengers too I am sure you will enjoy these Avengers themed ideas from my friends here:

It's no secret that Marvel likes to play with its musical themes across all its titles. Both the Marvel Studios theme and the Avengers theme song are arguably some of the most recognizable orchestrations in film to date. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe progresses, the tone and feel of these musical themes also evolve, similarly to the Warner Bros. logo across the Harry Potter film franchise.

With Phase Four of the MCU well underway, several teasers are pointing towards the reveal of the Young Avengers on-screen soon. With characters like Kate Bishop and Kid Loki introduced in the Disney+ Marvel series Hawkeye and Loki in addition to Cassie Lang's slightly aged-up appearance in Avengers: Endgame, the likelihood of the Young Avengers forming in the MCU is stronger than ever. What if Marvel has already confirmed their arrival via clever orchestration in Hawkeye's first episode? With previous MCU offerings already taking liberties with the familiar underscoring, Marvel may have introduced the theme for its newest heroes right under viewers' noses.

One of the most popular Disney+ Marvel shows to drop in 2021 was Loki, centering around the God of Mischief and introducing arguably the most buzzed-about topic of Marvel's Phase Four: the MCU multiverse. In the Season 1 finale, before learning about the existence and very real possibility of the multiverse appearing sooner rather than later, snippets of audio from both the MCU and the real world were easily heard in the opening credits. This not only grounded Loki within reality when it more often than not transcended it, but it also reaffirmed that all the MCU titles are more connected than audiences initially realized, solidifying the idea of the multiverse even further. However, this isn't the only time Marvel has played with familiar music themes within the Disney+ series.

Probably the most talked-about Disney+ Marvel offering of 2021 is Hawkeye. Introducing new characters like master archer Kate Bishop and re-establishing fan-favorites like Yelena Belova, Clint Barton and Kingpin, Hawkeye has already teased huge new developments for the MCU. Knowing that Kate, Kid Loki, Cassie Lang and Hawkeye are all members of the Young Avengers, Marvel fans have been scouring Hawkeye for hints leading to the reveal of the new team of super-powered individuals. But directors Rhys Thomas and Bert and Bertie may have already revealed the theme song for the Young Avengers in Hawkeye's first episode.

The orchestration following this whole sequence rings with the familiar heroic sound MCU fans know from previous titles, though it is noticeably different. While the tone of the orchestra has the same major resonance, with a loud inspirational sound, the fullness of the orchestra itself is a bit lacking. Having less instrumentation to fill out the underscore leads to it having an overall younger or less mature sound compared to the beloved Avengers theme. While it is used to underscore an Avenger (Hawkeye) in action, the scene is told from the perspective of a young child, which could explain why the music heard is still familiar but has a slightly different tone.

An orchestration similar to the Avengers theme but not as mature-sounding could very well mean that this new theme is reserved for a younger group of Avengers who haven't had the chance to grow in their abilities and powers thus, leaving their theme decidedly younger-sounding. Could this be the calling card for the Young Avengers cleverly disguised as a flashback sequence in Hawkeye? With all Easter eggs pointing towards the reveal of the Young Avengers sooner rather than later, it will be interesting to see if this musical theme pops up again in other Phase Four titles, or if it really is just a clever reimagining of the original Avengers theme.

Despite the contract, Disney has proved it can create groundbreaking Marvel-themed attractions. Only time will tell if they can continue to capitalize on this at Walt Disney World after Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is open.

My arrangement of the main theme from The Avengers for the violin is in the key of G Minor. To play the song with more ease, I recommend you practice the G Minor scale and arpeggio first. You can download it below!
