Sometimes when I write music its more of an emotion than a destination.i wrote this song with a scene in mind. the rain, the ambience plays into a theatrical episode of emotions. I originally put wrote this for a side project, but decided to release the instrumental version under heartbreak.

Acuff-Rose had its headquarters on 8th Avenue South in the Melrose district of Nashville and was something of a landmark to those knowledgeable of the music industry. It was here that Hank Williams, to prove his ability to Rose, wrote what would become a major hit ("A Mansion on the Hill") while Rose went out to a nearby restaurant for a cup of coffee. Williams proved to be a significant signing, by subsequently releasing a string of both country, and pop hits.[2]

On Fred Rose's death in 1954, his son Wesley Rose served as president of Acuff-Rose.[2] Wesley Rose led the publishing company for the next 30 years. He was instrumental not only in the success of Acuff-Rose but also in the growth of country music outside the U.S., being the first country music publisher to establish offices overseas. Acuff-Rose Music flourished throughout this period. Lefty Frizzell, Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, Roy Orbison, Don Gibson, The Everly Brothers, Mickey Newbury, Dallas Frazier, and Whitey Shafer were some of the significant songwriters signed exclusively to Acuff-Rose in the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.[2]

Sister Rose of Lima Dolan (who was later known as Mother Rose of Lima) was one of the founding sisters of The College of Saint Rose. Nearly 30 years after Saint Rose opened its doors in Albany, Dolan was named its second president and made instrumental decisions that had a lasting impact.

Instrumental Music Studies offers a comprehensive and transformative educational experience for individuals passionate about mastering their chosen instrument. Whether it's the eloquent notes of a violin, the resonant tones of a brass instrument, or the nimble fingers dancing across piano keys, this program caters to a diverse range of instrumentalists. Through rigorous training, students refine their technical skills, honing their intonation, phrasing, and dexterity. With an esteemed faculty comprised of accomplished musicians, students receive personalized guidance and mentorship, nurturing their musical growth and instilling a deep appreciation for the art form. The program not only focuses on solo performance but also fosters ensemble collaboration, allowing students to participate in orchestras, chamber groups, and bands, thus cultivating essential skills in teamwork, communication, and musical interpretation. Graduates of the program emerge as adept instrumentalists poised for both professional careers and a lifelong journey of musical excellence.

Immersed in a rich musical environment, the Instrumental Studies area is dedicated to fostering a holistic approach to musicianship. Beyond technical mastery, students engage in rigorous theoretical study, delving into music history, analysis, and interpretation. This well-rounded education equips students with the knowledge to dissect and appreciate musical compositions at a profound level, enhancing their ability to infuse emotion and depth into their performances. The program also emphasizes the development of critical listening skills, enabling students to discern nuances in tone, dynamics, and expression. Whether aspiring to be a virtuoso soloist, a chamber musician, or an orchestral performer, the Instrumental Studies area empowers students with the skills, knowledge, and artistic sensibility to excel in the world of instrumental music.

The Concert Band holds two concerts each semester, performing music from a variety of styles on each concert around a central theme. The Concert Band consists of music majors, college students, and community members and is open to all without audition. Instruments are available to rent by the semester through the college. Please contact Dr. Rose French (rose....@phoenixcollege.edu) for more information.

Established in 2019, Mariachi Osos del Valle performs traditional and contemporary mariachi music as well as the traditions surrounding the music. Mariachi Osos del Valle is open to community members and instruments are available to rent by the semester through the college. Please contact Dr. Rose French (rose....@phoenixcollege.edu) for more information.

The chamber music course is open to all musicians; groups are determined by instrumentation of class members. This class focuses on traditional chamber music ensembles and contemporary combinations of instruments. Please contact Dr. Rose French (rose....@phoenixcollege.edu) for more information.

Guitar classes are open to beginners and students with previous experience. This class focuses on note-reading, accompaniment styles, and leads to learning music from a variety of genres including classical, popular, and Latin. Instruments are available to rent by the semester through the college. Please contact Dr. Rose French (rose....@phoenixcollege.edu) for more information.

Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) are nonsurgical procedures to open blocked blood vessels to the heart, frequently using a catheter to place a stent. The catheter can be inserted into the blood vessels using an artery in the groin or an artery in the wrist. Because clinical trials have indicated that access via the wrist may result in fewer post procedure complications, shortening the length of stay, and ultimately cost less than groin access, adoption of access via the wrist has been encouraged. However, patients treated in usual care are likely to differ from those participating in clinical trials, and there is reason to believe that the effectiveness of wrist access may differ between males and females. Moreover, the choice of artery access strategy is likely to be influenced by patient or physician unmeasured factors. To study the effectiveness of the two artery access site strategies on hospitalization charges, we use data from a state-mandated clinical registry including 7,963 patients undergoing PCI. A hierarchical Bayesian likelihood-based instrumental variable analysis under a latent index modeling framework is introduced to jointly model outcomes and treatment status. Our approach accounts for unobserved heterogeneity via a latent factor structure, and permits nonparametric error distributions with Dirichlet process mixture models. Our results demonstrate that artery access in the wrist reduces hospitalization charges compared to access in the groin, with a higher mean reduction for male patients.

This paper presents a new approximation to the exact sampling distribution of the instrumental variables estimator in simultaneous equations models. It differs from many of the approximations currently available, Edgeworth expansions for example, in that it is specifically designed to work well when the concentration parameter is small. The approximation is remarkable in that simultaneously: (i) it has an extremely simple final form; (ii) in situations for which it is designed it is typically much more accurate than is the large sample normal approximation; and (iii) it is able to capture most of those stylized facts that characterize lack of identification and weak instrument scenarios. The development leading to the approximation is also novel in that it introduces techniques of some independent interest not seen in this literature hitherto.

The possibilities are discussed of the instrumental activation analysis of phosphorus in rocks by the reaction31P(n, γ)32P (T=14.2 d). Results are given for six standard rocks of the U.S. Geological Survey.
