Site update and new Jewelry

Hello Everyone!

Here at Featherdust Stuidos, (which is really just a fancy way for me
to talk about myself since I'm the only artist at Featherdust, hehe!),
we just got back from Lunacon 09. My husband and I were aiding long-
time friends Larry Dixon and Mercedes Lackey with the show as they
were both Guests of Honor. Great times were had by all!

So, now I'm back home and I put an update through to the site. Most
notably I created 11 new jewelry pieces! I received my first silver
shipment in since the New Year and it's a good one-- I've started
working exclusively with Argentium Sterling Silver... which is a great
metal that is the same quality as normal Sterling Silver (.925
stamped) but because germanium is used instead of copper, it is
hightly resistant to tarnish, won't scratch as easily, is more
environmentally friendly, and the coolest part: so far no one with
silver allergies/reactions has had any sort of reaction to Argentium
sterling silver! Even people with highly sensitive ears don't seem to
react to Argentium earrings. Now, it's not fool-proof yet because they
haven't tested it extensively, but it's good news for people that love
silver yet can't wear it due to skin reactions. Horray!

In Windstone news I am back to painting Windstones again and once I
start getting these guys shipped they should start showing up on eBay
regularly. This is my newest; a Labradorite Lap Dragon!

Finally, I have been working with a great group of folks on a
wonderful project! The Endangered Ark playing cards.

This beautiful set of cards features threatened and endangered species
to help promote awareness! Even cooler, a percentage of the sales will
be donated directly to groups dedicated to saving endangered species.
They are available for pre-sale now though the manufacturer (that's
NOT me)!

Alternatively, if you would like the two cards I did for the set
signed, you can order from me directly once I have my decks available,
come Late April. Either way, if you order it will be helping wildlife.
