Hello Everyone!

Long time no see, right? Oh boy, but it has been a wildly busy summer
for me. On top of attending a convention and all the craziness that
goes with it, I tend to be unavailable on the weekends as I like to go
out and create outdoors in the woods around our home.

Before I ramble, I'll get to the meat of this letter! Featherdust
Studio's galleries have indeed been updated, and there are now new
originals and new jewelry up for sale!

You may always visit Featherdust Studios by typing: www.featherdust.com

Originals now have a newly formatted page:

Jewelry! New pieces. I got a lot of moonstone and labradorite in over
the summer:

Onto the letter!

Unfortunately it has been a frustrating summer in many regards as
well. I had long since hoped to be moved by now but alas I am not.
This has caused some problems for me in that I literally do not have
the proper room to work on digital art with my Wacom tablet, and it
has led to some medical problems with my 'drawing' arm and hand. Until
I have room to move at my computer again my digital art output will be
minimal.

It is also the summer of inflation it seems! The cost of my supplies
has gone up more in the last year than ever before. The cost of
precious metals is skyrocketing and thus my cost for silver is over
twice what I used to pay less than a year ago. Sadly, I have had to
reflect this in the pricing of my work. It was a very hard decision to
make because I have always tried to create quality pieces that are
also affordable, but I found that I was not always even breaking even.
I hope with time costs will even back out and wages will go up to meet
the ever rising cost of living.

Speaking of which, this has been a hard year for myself and all my
artist peers. As the cost of living skyrockets and the economy in the
US becomes unstable, everyone has understandably less money to buy
unnecessary items such as artwork. So, I wanted to offer my sincere
gratitude and thanks to everyone that reads this- even if you never
spend a dime on my work I am very fortunate to have support from
admirers of my art, and that alone means the world to me. Thank you
all so very, very much!

Sincerely,
Jennifer Miller
