Yes we are in Pune now!
Two years back, when we were in the process of opening our first CAT classroom coaching 'Tathagat' with Riddler, a friend from Puneasked him,"yaar, totalgadha.com ka naam suna hai?" Riddler obviously said yes but asked his friend how he knew about totalgadha.com. His friend said, "every morning most of my colleagues log online to totalgadha.com on their terminals, study for a while, and then get down to their work." I guess that conversation strengthened Riddler's determination to give Tathagat a final go and make it big. We finally opened our first Tathagat center in Delhi in Kailash Colony Market on 15th December, 2007, and later on shifted to the heart of the city- Connaught Place.
The time when we opened our center, the competition from the big players was at its peek. But as they say "quality works", it worked for us as well. We were able to grab the brightest chunk of the city- DCE, NSIT, LSR, IIT and the kinds. Tough stands on things such as student attendance, weekly assignments, book reviews and an upper limit on student intake were taken. We also refunded the fees to a lot of students who could not handle the pressure of studies at TathaGat. All in all, these were the two good years that we completed last month. Our team emerged out as one of the best CAT preparation teams in Delhi. While Kumar sir became the best and the toughest verbal teachers in class, TG became the one who could psyche people with his solutions, soft-spoken Kamal became known for his razor-sharp brain, and Riddler got famous for his out of the box DI sets. Oh me? I got to enjoy all the blockbusters and dine at some of the finest places in the city.

Manish Harodia, an MBA from IIM K, has been mentoring students for the last 5 years. All India topper in MAT consecutively for 3 years. He takes active interest in finding unconventional ways to tackle DI and AR problems. He also likes partying and is an active socialist; Saturdays you know where to go hunting for your doubt sessions
Rakesh Vishwakarma is a maths wonder-kid. Deceptively simple and down to earth, he takes the classes to a level of mathematical ecstasy and enthralls janta with his general awareness. An Engineer and an MBA in marketing with 5 years of experience in teachingquant, it is upto you to explore the storm hidden behind that tiny cerebral cortex.
