Hi!

How are you?

I'm trying record my simulation on SmokoeView, but I don't find how to do it.

I think SmokeView can record and generate an video, right?

The way I make videos with smokeview is to

1. (only one time) install ffmpeg https://www.ffmpeg.org/ . If you also install ffmplay you can also display the movie you make within smokeview

2. open the menu item Dialogs>Files>Make movies (will show up if ffpmeg is in your path)

3. click the "Render normal" button to generate a set of png files

4. click on Make movie to make your movie after selecting the movie type, rame rate and Bit Rate (or quality if you are making an mp4 animation)

If you want to use a different program to make movies then stop at step 3 and use that program
