Tilted flame length calculation

Hi,

Any suggestion to calculate tilted flame length of flames over a , say, grass fire?

22.10.6 Flame Height and Flame Tilt

This is for a fire where the base of the fire is static. If you have a moving fire, you would need a set of devices to find the fire center which you could do with HRRPUV in a similar manner to the TEMPERATURE in the example.

Hi, guys.

I've checked the FDS user guide, shouldn't I just add the code from 22.10.6 to my input file?

I'm not sure why I'm getting the error, if you find any issues, please let me know.

Helpful to provide the error. This is the error I get:

ERROR: CTRL H cannot locate item for input HRRPUV (CHID: 20deg_ HRRPUV int)

The error message is telling you that the CTRL function with ID='H' is looking for an input from a DEVC or CTRL with ID='HRRPUV'. Where is that CTRL or DEVC in your input file?
