Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well. What are exactly the files used by Smokeview to plot the fire?

Where is the information extracted from?

I would like to know the information in each cell in any instant of time of the simulation not only for a particular time stored, for example, in the *.q files.

The FDS User's Guide describes the types of output files FDS creates.

If you want information in every grid cell at every timestep, use a slice file with an XB that encompasses your entire domain and set DT_SL3D to be a very small value. Be aware that doing this means an output file that can get extremely large depending on how many grid cells and timesteps you have.
