Hi, I'm learning about programming and wanted to see if I could compile FDS to run on the raspberry pi (just for fun and as a learning exercise).
I know it can be done; as Kristopher Overholt has shown:
http://www.koverholt.com/2013/01/running-fds-on-a-raspberry-pi/

I've successfully compiled version 6.0.1 for the ARMv7 architecture used in the pi v2 but when I run a test case a memory segmentation error occurs.
I was wondering if anyone can send me the source code for version '6.1.11 Linux 32' so i can experiment with a slightly newer version.

Many Thanks,

James

We do not keep different source code for different platforms.  But the source for v6.1.1 is in the Git repository at commit 898b35a.

if your rasberry pi is connected to the internet then just go to github and install the FDS-SMV git repo  (I'm assuming that git is installed on your rasberry pi).  Once you do that then you can then checkout and build any revision of FDS you want

Many thanks Randy McDermott and Glenn Forney.
I am connected to the Internet and have git installed on the pi so will try out those links.

Thanks again for your help 👍🏻
Will post how I get on. if all goes well perhaps I'll post some 'how-to' feedback in case anyone else is interested in doing the same.
