Hi All,

I am simulating a model of storage rack with sprinkler spray. I did a trial, and found that water particles can be dragged up by the fire (see attached figure 1). Is this condition normal in FDS?

Droplets have a terminal velocity that is a function of their diameter. If the terminal velocity is small enough compared to the upward velocity in the fire plume velocity, then the particles can be entrained in the upward flow.
