Hi all,

Has FDS been used to assess the performance of stair pressurisation system ? where I can find good examples ?

Not many, apparently.

Some thesis in Edinburgh, but not available publicly.

2009 conference paper

Marco Ribaric's MSc thesis has some examples, but leakages are not modelled

An old example of underground stairs (i.e. no air leaks).

We (Jensen Hughes) have done some modeling of stair pressurization with FDS (https://global.ctbuh.org/resources/papers/download/1264-protecting-the-stair-enclosure-in-tall-buildings-impacted-by-stack-effect.pdf) but in general for tall buildings we use other tools for design purposes.
