Hi everyone,

I'm running a simulation with one pressure zone for multi meshes. There isn't any air movement inside my domain.

When i plot the zone pressure in the hrr csv file, the pressure zone is about -155 Pa. This value looks confusing to me because i was expecting a near zero pressure. I've tried with difference leak area but i have the same zone's pressure.

Could you please help me to find the root of my problem. The pyrosim ans the fds files are attached.

 Thanks in advance!

The _hrr.csv file reports the average pressure for the entire zone; whereas the devc.csv file reports the pressure above or below the ambient pressure at that particular elevation.

Thanks Kevin but if this is the average pressure, how can it be -155 while there isn't any air circulation in the domain. These line in the user guide look confusing : ''If you specify pressure ZONEs; that is, specific areas of the domain where the background pressure rises
above ambient, the pressure of each zone is listed in the file CHID_hrr.csv.''

There is still a pressure drop within the enclosure, even if there is no air movement. It appears that -155 Pa corresponds to about 13 m above z=0.

Delta p = -rho g z = -1.2*9.8*13 = -153 Pa
