Dear all,

I want to do FDS fire modeling for Iso-Propanol and Methanol fuels through the combustion reaction method. If anyone knows the combustion properties like the heat of reaction, reference rate, reference temperature, etc. then let me provide these.

Thanking you in advance.

With regards
Mahesh

Do you mean single step mixing controlled combustion (default model) or pyrolysis model?

Have you read the relevant sections in the User guide? https://pages.nist.gov/fds-smv/manuals.html

See the User's Guide discussion on modeling liquid fuels. REFERENCE_RATE and REFERENCE_TEMPERATURE are not the inputs you need.

Then what input would be required to fuel pyrolysis modeling.

Yes, single-step mixing controlled combustion model or pyrolysis model.

Thanks in advance

The inputs would be the inputs that are discussed in the User's Guide section on modeling liquid fuels.
