Vents should be attached on solid walls. Have you followed this as mentioned in the FDS user's guide section 7.4? I removed your vents and checked the model in Smokeview and I did not see any wall where you had specified your vents. In FDS you can place walls and attach vents on them enabling air to be pushed or sucked in or out from the domain. Hope this helps.

Hi Arvind and Palinda,

Arvind , Palinda Opinion about Vents is correct.

you need to specify thickness for your Walls.

Add this line the Misc Line

THICKEN_OBSTRUCTIONS=.TRUE.

I checked your input and launched your simulation for second time but
i get this message

STOP: FDS was improperly set-up

My opinion is that there is intersection between vents and obstructions.

Check all your walls and vents.

Cheers Mohamed.

Arvind, Palindra is correct, you have no walls at the site of the
vent. You have set your mesh boundaries at X=-2.0, Y=-0.5 and then
seem to have built a room from 0.0. The vent must either align with
the domain boundary or an object. If you want the 'floor area to
represent the room you either need the domain boundaries at the edges
of the floor or to create wall obstructions.
