Band Specific Intensity Calculation

Hi,

I am simulating a small-scale n-heptane pool fire considering a wide-band model. I am interested in extracting band-specific intensity instead of integrated intensity. Can you please let me know the way to extract band-specific intensity?

FDS does not save the intensity, I, in the gas phase. With 100 angles and millions of grid cells, this would be overwhelming. there is a way to extract some intensity information. See User's Guide 21.10.14 Extracting Detailed Radiation Data. I do not know if we can get band-specific data this way.

Quick question to you, Sagar: Do you need intensities per steradian (solid angle) for each band.  Or would BAND-SPECIFIC INTEGRATED INTENSITY be useful for you?  This integrated intensity per band we could implement pretty easily.  But I don't want to go through it if that will not help.  Let me know.

For curiosity, what kind of measurement you plan to compare against band-specific INTEGRATED INTENSITY?
