Dear friends,

I try to simulate the evacuation from a vehicle in a tunnel. When I just add Evac mesh and the vehicle without tunnel OBSTs, it works. Although the passenger chooses the longest exit door. But when I add the tunnel walls, I face the below error:
"Specify the orientation of vent 0, MESH number1"
What is VENT 0?
Why the passenger choose the longest exit?

Regards,
Baran

See:

it might be that the fire OBSTs make the evacuation geometry not nice. Check that the floor nor the ceiling OBST are touching
the evacuation mehs XB z-range. This would make the whole evacuation mesh filled with OBST, so no place to put any DOORs
nor EXITs anywhere. And the evacuation mesh makes automatically some VENTs for the DOORs and EXITs and these might
produce those error messages. So, check that you have empty space in the evacuation mesh in front of the EXITs and DOORs
and check also that your IOR keywords have correct sign on the EXIT/DOOR lines. (check = change the sign and see, if it works
better or read the manual).
