Hello there,

I'm trying to use fds2ascii to convert slice flie from FDS into csv files to be read by Tecplot. However, It stops and saying"there are no slice files to convert" every time.I've tried some solution(delete leading blanks  before the .q flie name in smv flie, use cmd to open fds2ascii instead of double-click) to settle it but didn‘t work.

I am using the fds2ascii version provided with the last bundled FDS 6.8.0 and SMV 6.8.0.The model was built and ran in pyrosim version 2020.5.1118.

Thanks for your help.1.png2.png

Your command prompt is being run from C:\Users\Administrator. Is that where the results files are located? It looks like you are trying to pass a windows path as part of CHID which I am not sure works. Easier to navigate to the results directory before running fds2ascii.

I did not notice the path name. That will definitely not work. Run fds2ascii directly in the working directory.
