I'm using Pyrosim to simulate car fires in open parking garages.
I have only used Pyrosim for the past months so I'm not experienced with the software and I'm running into some issues.
I am doing validation of my model by using simple car fire with small meshes to verify Heat Release rates matches the values used in the "ramp up time and HRRUA". When running simulation using a single car, I was able to get reasonable results when comparing to Fire dynamics analytical calculations (temperature of gas and smoke layer). However, when I'm adding 3 cars to the simulation, I'm not able to ignite the cars that are adjacent to the fire on the side. I used a Temperature of ignition (291C) and burn away features and tried adding bulk density based on some tutorials online, but I'm still not able to get it to work.
Would you be able to give some insight on how to be able to ignite the cars? I tried even putting a really small ignition temperature like 50C and would still not do it. If you have any additional training for the topic, it would be great. I looked at pretty much every tutorial I could find online and the User guide as well and tried several things. I'm using a ramp up for the HRRUA because I'm using a HRR curve from a previous research I found.
I attached my Pyrosim file.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
