Problems with MPI running

I can’t execute MPI calculation on two connected computers.
When I try to run MPI calculation in Command Prompt I get:

Credentials for fire 1 rejected connecting to fire 2
Aborting: Unable to connect to fire2

I don’t know what could be a problem. I can see both shared folders
from My Network Places, but program for MPI calculation is not able to
connect to it…

Description

I’m using Windows XP on both computers and I have:

enabled direct connection via cable from PC with name fire1 to PC with
name fire2,

shared part of the disk and folder in this shared part of the disk,
(I am able to see both shared folders on both PC in My Network Places)

installed MPICH2,
(mpich2-1.2.1p1-win-ia32.msi)

installed FDS5 on both PCs,

disabled fire wall on both PC-s and disabled NOD 32 firewall.

I would be very glad if someone could helped me.

Regards,

Matija

Does the account you are using with MPI have a windows user password
set? In the configurations I've worked with, MPI will fail to connect
using password-less accounts - some detail of how it integrates with
Windows's network security.
