I followed your instructions for the new EVAC mode, I used the example found on the FDS guide: FDS6.7.6-404-gc9da70d7a Evac: 2.6.0-draft, evac_example.fds. as you indicated I have performed the three steps. all OK if you are using the 6.7.6 release, instead if you are using the 6.7.7 release. I found the solution, in the third phase in addition to the chid_3.fed file, generated by the copy of the chid_2.fed file, you must also copy the chid_2.smv file which becomes chid_3.smv. run chid_3.fds and the file chid_3_evmc.smv is written. game done. run the file chid_3_evmc.smv and it reads fire + evac

Hi! Good, that you found the instructions in this forum. But I should update the Readme.txt file at:

And some other updates for the evacuation guide (and V&V .fds files) needed. These should not take too much of my time, so I try to do them ASAP.

I have already run my V&V cases using the FDS 6.7.7 release executable, so I have more or less everything ready, just need to find some time to update the guides.
