Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum. I am working on an academic
project to read FDS generated files, mailny SF, ISO and S3D files. Is
there any library/api which can help me or should I use smokeview code?

There is no library/api for this. There is documentation in the FDS
users guide describing the various file formats. You could also look
at smokezip which also reads in FDS generated output files using
routines found in getsizes.f90 and getdata.f90 .

I searched documentation and source repo with little success. It will
be great if you could point me to the source files as I am new to FDS/
SMV source-code structuring.

If you just want to read FDS output files, use the formats listed in
the back of the FDS Users Guide. The source code file, dump.f90, has
1000s of lines and it would take you a long time to get what you need.
