Hi,
If anyone here previously worked with polyethylene can you please share the thermal properties here.
I searched in SFPE handbook I only found value of heat of combustion.
Heat of reaction , reference temperature are missing
Thank you.

Look at the FDS Validation Guide, Burning Rates chapter. Under "Non-Charring Polymers" you will find properties of high density polyethylene (HDPE). If this material is appropriate for your needs, then you should use all of the parameters. Do not just pick and choose among the various properties. They only make sense as a whole.

Sir, I am looking for LDPE.
can I use this thermal properties of HDPE to LDPE, except density.
please correct me if I am wrong.

No. This is not an a la carte menu. Take it all or leave it all.

sir, for LDPE I collected values of all thermal properties from different research works, but lab work conditions are same will this be acceptable.

No. You should gather all the properties from one and only one researcher who has made a consistent set of measurements on the same exact material. Otherwise, you cannot be sure that the material is exactly the same.
