Please Join Friends of the Dillon Ranger District to Clean up Swan Mountain Rd. on May 16th

 

What: Forest/Summit County/Town Clean-Up
When: Saturday, May 16, 2009; 8:30 AM – 1 PM.
Where:  Windy Point parking area along Swan Mountain Road

Details:   FDRD’s Forest Clean-Up project will be along Swan Mountain Road, picking up litter between Summit Cove and Sapphire Point.  Meet at 8:30 AM for coffee and bagels.  Snacks and beverages will be provided at the end of work day “trail gate” celebration. Dress for a day outdoors – bring water, snacks, work gloves, rain gear, long pants, sturdy boots, sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses, and insect repellent. 

We will also attend the town clean up days, handing out the community volunteer calendar both at registration and at the BBQ.  Visit your town’s website for more information. 

Join your fellow community members in beautifying our county – come pick up the unsightly litter that is now exposed due to the spring snow melt!
