FDNA neighborhood meeting on Tuesday, 6/30, 6-8 p.m.

[Faubourg Delachaise Neighborhood Association]

Hi, neighbor,

Our next meeting of the Faubourg Delachaise Neighborhood Association - jointly with our neighbors from the Faubourg Marengo Neighborhood Association - will be:

                                                                     Tuesday, June 30th, 6 - 8 p.m.

                                                                                               at WRBH Reading Radio, 3606 Magazine St.

As usual, there will be a neighbors' social and refreshments from 6 to 6:30, with soft drinks and snacks provided by the FDNA and FMNA. Please feel free to bring a snack and your beverage of choice if you wish.

Speakers will start at 6:30. Here's the line-up of invited speakers so far:

• City Councilmember Lesli Harris, our District B councilmember who will share updates from City Council;
• Rep. Mandie Landry, our Louisiana State Representative for House District 91, who will share news and her perspectives from the 2026 state legislative session; 
• Sen. Royce Duplessis, our Louisiana State Senator for Senate District 5, who will also share news and his perspectives from the 2026 state legislative session;
• John Smart, Director of Strategic Engagement in the Mayor's Community Engagement Office, City of New Orleans, who has taken over as our neighborhood liaison to the Mayor's Office and will share details on his new role and other news from the Mayor's Office; and
• Dana Eness, Executive Director of the Urban Conservancy, who will introduce us to the UC and one of its signature projects, the Front Yard Initiative (FYI), improving safety, stormwater management, and beauty by increasing permeable surfaces and water absorption in front yards across the city.
