Next FDNA meeting, Tuesday, March 25th, 6-8 p.m.

Greetings, neighbor!

Adam Kelly with the FDNA here, hoping this finds you doing well. We’ve scheduled the next FDNA meeting for:

                                                                     Tuesday, March 25th, 6 - 8 p.m. 

at WRBH Reading Radio, 3606 Magazine St.

This will be another joint meeting with the Faubourg Marengo Neighborhood Association (FMNA). I look forward to welcoming our upriver neighbors once again.

As usual, there will be a neighbors' social and refreshments/potluck dinner from 6 to 6:30, with soft drinks and snacks provided by the FDNA and FMNA. Please feel free to bring a snack and your beverage of choice if you wish.

Speakers will start at 6:30. Here's the line-up of invited speakers so far:

·        Matthew Schoenberger, Director of Community Engagement for New Orleans City Council District B, who will be sharing updates from City Councilmember Lesli Harris;

·       Antonia Holden, the Mayor’s Office Neighborhood Liaison for District B, providing us updates from the City Administration;

·       Mandie Landry, Louisiana State Representative for House District 91, who will share a preview of the upcoming state legislative session for the House; and

·       Royce Duplessis, Louisiana State Senator for Senate District 5, who will provide a similar preview for the Senate.

Also, I'm very happy to announce we have a candidate for FDNA Vice-President, our neighbor Zachary Mangrum. Zachary will tell you about himself and his vision for the FDNA. We will then take a vote and make it official!
