Reminder: Neighborhood meeting this Tuesday, 9/23, 6-8 p.m.

[Faubourg Delachaise Neighborhood Association]

Greetings,

This is a reminder that our next meeting of the Faubourg Delachaise Neighborhood Association will be:

 Tuesday, September 23rd, 6 - 8 p.m.

at WRBH Reading Radio, 3606 Magazine St. This will be another joint meeting with our neighbors from the Faubourg Marengo Neighborhood Association.

 As usual, there will be a neighbors' social and refreshments/potluck dinner from 6 to 6:30, with soft drinks and snacks provided by the FDNA and FMNA. Please feel free to bring a snack and your beverage of choice if you wish.
 

Speakers will start at 6:30: 

•       City Councilmember Lesli Harris, our District B councilmember who will share updates from City Council;

•       Antonia Holden, the Mayor’s Office Neighborhood Liaison for District B, providing us updates from the City administration;

•       Representative Mandie Landry, our Louisiana State Representative for House District 91, who will share news from the 2025 state legislative session; and

•       A forum of candidates for City Council At-Large Seats 1 and 2: JP Morrell, Matthew Willard, Delisha Boyd, Gregory Manning, Kenneth Cutno, and Matthew Hill. (All have been invited; hopefully, all will join us.)
