Hey, trying to get fdlog working between a few computers for FD at home and I keep getting 'RCVP FAIL' and 'SENDP FAIL'

Linux shows a bunch of lines saying 'send_udp failed' and 'invalid argument' to the 'host' windows machine

Windows doesn't show anything in its command window, however if I just do it between the 2 linux machines they both have 'RCVP FAIL' and no errors being dumped to the command windows.

Also it doesn't look like either linux machine is really exchanging all data between each other.

I'm running Xubuntu on one computer, a version of Pi on the other linux box and windows 10.

any help would be great!

well I think I fixed it, went through the other threads on here and grabbed some code from the enhanced project and that seemed to make it work.

I also imported it to my github projects to work on the code, its github.com/nouse4anick/FDLog, I've ignored all the database files and log files as to keep a 'clean' copy. Feel free to fork it and work on it!

Glad you were able to get it working.

Database and logfiles should not be included in distros.

yeah, I added a .gitignore file that ignores all sql and log files

Nifty thing now is that you can go to most raspberry pi and other linux computers and type 'git clone http://github.com/nouse4anick/FDLog' and it'll clone the current version right to the computer =)
