OK. I listened to Fdip 214, and Steve's desperate request for us to
create a podcast. I have thought about the idea for a few months, and
I'd like to see if anyone out there can help.
My thought is that I start a podcast called "The Race Report" or
something like that. My initial thought would be that runners from
all over the globe could submit race reports to me for podcast
publication in one of 3 ways. First, they could email me a report for
me to read on the podcast. Second, they could submit their own voice
recording of themselves during the race and/or after the race
dictating their race report. Third, I could interview them for 10 or
15 minutes to really explore what their experience was like.
I think I'd like to start with only road races, since that is where my
experience and obsession is.
I have done ZERO research to see if there is another podcast doing
this. I haven't heard of one, so maybe this would be unique.
So here is where I ask for your help. First, let me know what you
think of this idea. Second, if you'd like to be one of my test
subjects, please send me a recent race report, either written out or
as an audio file, to
j...@middleagedathlete.com. I look forward to
seeing what you guys think.
