Dear All
Departmemt of Mass Communication will be organizing an essay writing
competition in Hindi and English on the occasion of Republic Day that is
26th of January 2011 on the subject:-
INDIAN REPUBLIC OVER YEARS
The competition will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday the 20th
of January 2011 in our Radio studio. Individual entries from all
departments & branches: - Sector -5, Vikas Puri, Lajpat Nagar & Vasant
Kunj will be invited.
Rules & Regulations:-
1) All participants will write the essay covering not more than 350 words
in person
2) All essays will be written in the given time of 90 minutes.
3) Essay can be written in Hindi or English and should highlight the
achievements and shortcoming of India Republic as perceived by the writer
4) A panel of judges drawn from Journalist & Media persons will be judging
the entries and their decision will be final. .
5) I, II & III Essays will be given cash prize of Rs.21,00, Rs.11,00 &
Rs. 500 each.
6) All participants will be given certificates of participation.
7) The prize winning essays will be published in the next issue of JIMS News.
