Dear All, 

Saturday Oct 14^th is 'ADOPT A BOAT' and dock workday at 9 am

We have 2 goals to accomplish: 

The first is to learn all about boats and their miscellaneous pieces and parts, create teams assigned to specific boats in which you take personal ownership/responsibility for your favorite boat with a goal to assess what is needed to keep them all in working order. I have created a spread sheet all the parts, sizes, etc., and will have those available on Saturday. Winter is a great time to organize individualized 'boat care and parts package'. We will also discuss naming the boats with final name assignments voted on at the Project Team Planning Meeting on Dec 2^nd at Jamie's. 

Secondly, many of our boats will be trailered to Denver for the 5280 and we will use this morning to derig boats and load onto trailer. There is no better way to learn about 'pieces and parts' than the derig/rig process. 

Please feel free to forward to anyone in the club - I am not sure who is all on this list. I will work with Jamie to get this posted on TeamSnap as well.
