I'm up in Sheridan,WY where I tried to start a performance kayaking club.
Not enough interest so I will be selling 2 beginner boats and paddles. They are technically called Surfskis which are as fast as a K1 Olympic kayak or racing shell.
The big differences, especially for beginners, is the ease of remounting and steerable rudder.
These boats are fast and can be paddled in ANY conditions. In fact many ocean races such as the Blackburn Challenge around Gloucester, MA have entire divisions of surfskis racing on the open ocean. They also provide excellent balance and cross training for rowers. Many of today's top surfskiers were once highly ranked rowers and it's fun to see them at races .
The boats are both 2021 Stellar S16S Advantage layup with Epic Mid Wing adjustable paddles .
One but is unused and the other is a demo.
They both have a set of storage cradles and safety leash
I will be able to deliver them to FT Collins for just the cost of fuel tolls and motel .
Of course I will provide instruction on safe and proper paddling technique to the new owner .
Price for the unused set up is $3,700 and 3,500 for the demo .
These boats would be a great addition to an established club .
