I will use this discussion to record what I believe are typos and
errors. If there is already a place to record such, let me know and I
will use that place instead.

1. In subsection EXC, exercise C10, the reference should be to the
second table.
2. In Proof Technique I, there is an error in the proof of the
Induction Step. The fourth line of the equation should be (k^2+k)/2 +
2(k+1)/2.

Hi Ron,

Yes, this is a good place to post comments with corrections.

1. WILA.EXC.C10 quotes $3.69 for bulk, which is the value in the
first table.

2. The fourth line reads:

(k^2+k)/2 + (2k+2)/2

which is equal to the other expressions. It would be matter of style
to choose between what you suggest and what is written.

Thanks - keep them coming.

Rob, I must have a different version of the pdf file since in the one
I have, WILA.EXC.C10 says the bulk price is $3.70 and the fourth line
of the equation has only the term (k**2+k)/2.

Rob, Yes, I do have a different version, 2.00, which is the one I got
when pressing the "Download". I am sorry for using the wrong version;
I have version 2.22 now and if I add to the discussion forum, I will
always include the version number. -Ron

IN V2.22.SSLE.EXC.M70 the solution set for the pair of equations x^2-
y^2=1, x^2-x+y^2=0 is { (1, 0), (-1/2, i3^(1/2)/2), (-1/2, -i3^(1/2)/
2) } if the variables and constants are complex.

V2.22 should list the Index in the Table of Contents.
