Using fcitx to insert arbitrary text

Hi, I'm trying to add a new command to fcitx-remote. It looks like `fcitx -w '<some text>'` . The goal is to let script sending keyboard input via fcitx easily. This should be more reliable than solutions like xdotool. I'm a bit new to the codebase. What function should I use to write text out from fcitx? Thanks!
